5 out of 5 starsMy crabbies love the net and climb all over it. One even managed to climb all the way to the top of it and get on top of my camera!! Was a good size and didn't have a smell to it. I was able to cut it and use it in 2 different places. Shipping was good and it was packaged well. She even included some freebies which was nice. Look forward to purchasing from this shop again!

What will my items be shipped to me in?
I ship a vast majority of what is ordered from my shop in white poly padded bubble wrap mailers. Some items may be boxed.
I will always look out for your best interest when packaging all items. 😊
Items sent via USPS Priority Mail are usually shipped in USPS Priority Mail Boxes. In some cases I may use the USPS Priority Mail Poly padded bubble wrap mailer.
Are larger packages available?
Certainly! You can order things in larger quantities by requesting a custom order, or by contacting me. 😊
Do you recommend a feeding guide?
Here are two links pertaining to nutrition for land hermit crabs. You will have to copy and paste the links. The only thing I personally recommend is offering two proteins daily and a couple of calcium choices available at all times for Ecuadorians. By following this guideline I have never had problems with my Es. 😊

What is the difference between processing time and shipping time?
The processing time is the time that it takes me to complete getting each item ready. The shipping time is the time it takes me to get your complete order to ready to ship. Once I ship your item, from that point it is out of my hands. Whatever method you choose for shipping is how long it takes to get to you. Please keep in mind that the post office doesn't work on holidays or on Sundays. Thank you!
What type of bags are TheHealthyHermit's items put in?
All of my foods are packaged in FDA food storage compliant bags. They are currently plastic because I ordered my supplies in bulk. When I finish these I will be switching to more environmentally friendly ones.
How do I store items from TheHealthyHermit?
Each item is freshly packaged upon preparing your order. From that point, I recommend storing items in a pantry. Some of my clients store their items in the freezer. By doing that your items will certainly last longer.
When I order items for my crabitat from TheHealthyHermit (eg: Oak Branches, Barnacles, Urchins, Leaf Litter, Fish Net), do I need to do anything to prepare them for the crabitat?
No 😊 I have already made all items crabitat ready for you! 😊 You are ready to place the items in the crabitat for your hermies to enjoy!
